During middle school, Shareef O’Neal developed an interest in basketball and started training regularly when he turned 13. as the forward during the freshman year, he started playing for the school team at Windward High School in Los Angeles and he soon became an internet sensation as well.

Shareef decided to transfer to Crossroads School in 2016 and he had become the number one player in California during his senior season.
