TenZ started his professional career in October 2019 at the age of 18. As one of the youngest players in professional esports, he joined the Cloud9 squad in the first-person shooter game Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS:GO).
He opted to join Valorant the next year, leaving CS:GO, and he became Cloud9’s first professional player in the game. Additionally, when Valorant was still in beta, he was the first player to ever hold Radiant rank.
