As of his career, Jesse’s career began when he was just six years old. He landed a commercial for Kix cereal. When he was just eight years old, he made his feature film debut in the comedy Matinee, alongside John Goodman and Cathy Moriarty.
In 1994, he co-starred as Percival in the drama Safe Passage, and in 1995, he co-starred as Bobby Brady in the comedy The Brady Bunch Movie, which he repeated the following year in A Very Brady Sequel. After that, he played Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler in the TV movie From the Mixed-Up Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.
In the year 1998, he was cast in the ABC sitcom Two of a Kind. On the CBS serial series Guiding Light, he played Max Nickerson for the first time in 1999.
