Katelyn Jae’s passion for music got her a Karaoke machine at the young age of 3. When she was only a sixth-grader, her unique talents were discovered by her choir teacher. Celine Dion’s My Heart Will Go On was a near-perfect performance by her, which led her parents to get her enrolled in vocal and piano classes.
At the International Model and Talent Association conference, Jae made it to the list of top five singers in the year 2008. Among 23 female singers who represented the United States, she was featured as one in the women-only music contest; Avon Voices. Katelyn earned a radio play for her original song Skills after her emergence at the top-five list.
Earning her the prize money of $20,000, the singing competition web series Take the Stage was contested and won in the maiden season by her and she also signed a contract with YOBI.tv and Wright Entertainment Group.
Run by industry bigwig, Johnny Wright, at the Florida compound music industry boot camp, the big win also got her a training slot there. Jae released a music video for 24KT, what many would call a “blockbuster” turned out to be one of her biggest hits.
